After a long day of championship in El Salvador, Angelo Lozano, from Mexico, managed crowned Champion of the seventh stop in the ALAS Tour. Lozano had to overcome seven complicated rounds to get his first victory in the Open category.
His compatriot, Patrick Gonzales imposed ahead of the leader in Longboard while the Venezuelan, Maria Eugenia Rojas and Francisco Bellorín, earned first place in a surprising heats of Woman and Junior, respectively.
Goffy vs. Regular
Meanwhile, Jason Torres (CRI) and Angelo Lozano (MEX), exceeded round to round to the greatest surfers of Latin America and the Caribbean. Both competitors got their first or second place since the beginning of the championship and with the passing of his heats, surprised everyone in every maneuver done.

Angelo knew that nothing was said until the end of the heat was so quiet that lasted all the time. Bellorín locks in Junior
The Venezuelan Bellorin achieved a victory in the Junior category. The fight against Jair Perez of Costa Rica was fairly evenly. Francisco "Lolo" Bellorín achieved a final score of 14.33 while Jair earned a 14.27. With this victory, Lolo is imposed and obtained advantage in this category.
Excited by this victory, the young Venezuelan said: "Even I do not believe that I won again, I’m very happy and excited. Unfortunately, I didn’t manage to reach the Open final, but it would be a dream to become champion in both categories. "
Thrilling first win

Mexican take-over the heat
The Mexican Patricio Gonzales was confronted once again with Martin Perez in the final Longboard. Everything indicated that the story welived in Mexico will repeat again, but Gonzales imposed to the Argentine and locals, Wilber Alvarenga and Cristian Martinez, obtaining an absolute victory.
The Longboard indicated that his very happy about his victory because it would add significant points in the ranking that would help to move first, however, although there are several dates to compete and will not surrender until the title of Latin American Champion in Longboard.

The Latin American Association of Professional surfers is the entity that governs the professional surfing tour of the region crowning annually to the Latin American champions in the categories: Open Men, Woman Open, Pro Junior (Under 20) and Longboard. ALAS was founded with the purpose to promote, develop and encourage the sport of surfing throughout Latin America, with the main objective to raise our technical and competitive level.
The Tour travels across the continent throughout the year generating stops at every strategic location, where the most outstanding surfers of the region are competing to accumulate points for entry to the prestigious Top 16 of the Tour and become, as the final goal in the Latin American Champion.
